Comments: Ferlinghetti was accompanied by Charles McPherson on saxophone. Part of the Border Voices Poetry Fair. I arrived very early and was the first person in line to see him. VERY exciting!! I had been learning about and teaching my students about the Beat Generation for years--very cool.
